Gratitude

It’s been a difficult week! Whew, I’m thankful for the rest I got today. It gives me time to get out of my feelings and focus on the good things.
Two people got saved at church this week!
Kids received needed school supplies and book bags.
I got to have lunch with my mentor today.
A friend is buying a beautiful house and will close on it this week.
Another friend is being healed of a problem in her throat.
Same friend is learning to do things afraid, and it’s amazing to watch.
We have several more deliverances scheduled and God is really growing our deliverance ministry.
My daughter learned to clean the carpet and was excited about it…I know right?
I’ve reconnected with a friend from my past and she came to church with me Sunday.
Another friend just started a new job and started volunteering for a local ministry.
My constant backache is gone, and I start physical therapy to strengthen it next week.
My provision from the Lord has been more than enough this month.
We get to go to Carowinds again on Thursday with some friends from Kaleigh’s school.
I am a child of the Most High God.
I am loved.
I am valuable.
I am amazing.
I am the head and not the tail.
I am a doer of the word and not a hearer only.
The list goes on and on!
We are blessed and highly favored! God is so faithful to be a good, good Father. I’ve been told that when I don’t know what to do, do nothing at all. I think that is good advice. My flesh wants to problem solve and fix things that I have no control to fix. I am reminded that Jesus only did what the Father did and only said what the Father said. If I can follow that example, all of this will work out just fine in His perfect timing. I have too many happy, joyous, and free things to be focused on to allow the enemy to get my eyes off Christ. God’s got this! In the midst of the worst circumstances of my life, Jesus was the answer and He is still always the right answer today. No matter what you are going through, when you surrender your life to Him, He will meet you where you are and you will never be the same. If what you are doing is not working for you, taste and see that the Lord is good. His mercies endure forever. He loves us so much, but He will always respect our freewill. He is a gentleman, and He is waiting for permission to come in and turn our lives into something more amazing than we could ever imagine. Lists are really helpful. Make a gratitude list. Make a list of what is working and what isn’t working. Write down your vision so that you can run your race well. Time is too short to go in circles, we must move from glory to glory in Christ.
