Prayer & Journaling: At-Home Healing Practice

Prayer & Journaling is a self-paced healing practice designed to help survivors deepen their connection with Yahweh, strengthen communication with their parts, and build emotional awareness in a safe, structured way.

Each participant completes the daily practice privately at home.

1. Read the Assigned Prayer Aloud

Using the Prayer Warriors book, read the day’s prayer out loud and record yourself as you read. Speaking the prayer helps engage the spirit, calm the nervous system, and create internal alignment.

2. Listen for Yahweh and for Your Parts

After reading the prayer, sit quietly and notice:

  • What Yahweh speaks to your heart

  • What your parts want to share

  • Any emotions, sensations, or thoughts that arise

3. Journal What You Hear

Write down everything you sense, even if it feels small or unclear. This builds communication, safety, and integration within your system.

4. Send Your Recording + Journal Entry on Signal

Send your prayer recording and journal reflections to Kelly Hawley at 678-336-2410 using the Signal app.

This practice is designed to help survivors:

  • Learn to hear Yahweh’s voice more clearly

  • Strengthen internal communication with their parts

  • Release shame, fear, and confusion

  • Develop spiritual grounding

  • Experience deeper emotional and spiritual healing

You do not need experience with journaling or prayer, and there are no right or wrong answers. Success in this group is based on a willingness to try and a commitment to be consistent in working through the book. Remember this is your healing journey and you are worth investing in!
